Occupy Wall St West:

Bechtel Teach-In

45 min 22 sec

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: On 20 January, 2012, during the afternoon of the Occupy Wall Street West demonstration in San Francisco, groups including Global Exchange, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Seminary of the Street, Veterans for Peace, Courage to Resist, Code Pink, the Fellowship of Reconciliation, March Forward!, the Iraqi Student Project of Dominican University, and the Campaign for New Priorities targeted Bechtel Corporation with a teach-in. Speakers describe Bechtel's history of waste, corruption, and public endangerment.

During the teach-in, a veteran calls on military members to end all war by saying NO. Enough!

Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) members demonstrate military detainment of ordinary citizens that could happen in the U.S. now that the National Defence Authorization Act has passed.
